LAPLAS for Mac.

Free to own. Local-first. Your memory lives in a .laplaspack on your disk — capture your thinking, recall it with receipts, and connect the AI you already rent.

macOS 13+ · Apple Silicon · v1.0.0 · free, yours forever
01
Open the DMG, drag LAPLAS to Applications
Double-click the downloaded .dmg, then drag the LAPLAS icon onto the Applications folder.
02
Approve it once (unsigned early-access build)
This build is ad-hoc-signed but not yet notarized, so macOS quarantines it on first open. Launch LAPLAS — when blocked, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway.
If the window flashes and vanishes, open Terminal and run xattr -cr /Applications/LAPLAS.app, then open LAPLAS again — that clears the download quarantine for good.
03
Capture your first thought
Press ⌘N and write. It becomes a typed node the moment you commit it.
04
Connect your AI
Add the LAPLAS MCP server to Claude (or any MCP client) — your assistant recalls from your file.
05
Put it to work
Publish a Manifesto for free, or share a space to your org's AX workspace.
